These hotel reservation services use their buying power to get a cheap price on hotels, flight tickets and even car rentals. When booking a room always call the hotel you wish to stay at in Disneyland or Disney World, directly (most have toll-free numbers available). You will ususally get a cheap deal than if you call the central reservation desk. Always ask for corporate or special prices.

Discount hotels are usually hotels that are not close to Disneyland or Disney World. When choosing a hotel in Orlando check out some that are on International Drive or on US 192 that offer free transportation to and from the Disney World parks. This may take some time to travel to and from the hotel or back from the park but you will save on a car rental and the price to park the car or even bus or taxi fare. These hotels may also offer cheap or discount tickets to the theme parks.

Many hotels in California also offer a shuttle to and from the Disneyland parks so booking a hotel a little further away from the theme parks will get you a better discount than the closer hotels.
