Walt Disney World Florida tips for a better enjoyment of your vacations.

Before you get there make sure you have the following:

1. Always wear a pair of comfortable shoes.

2. It's usually warm enough to swim all year round in Florida so bring a swim suit. 2 fun swimming theme parks to see.

3. A lightweight waterproof jacket. (Just in case it rains)

4. Hats, sunglasses and sunscreen are needed all year round in Florida.

5. A long distance calling card is useful, your hotel will add a surcharge to every call (up to 40%).

6. Beach towels can get costly to rent, having your own can be helpful.

7. Your camera (digital or other) you'll need extra film, extra batteries, and even an extra memory card. These can be quite expensive if you need to purchase these at the theme parks.

8. A backpack is always handy for those extra items you'll need during the day in the theme parks and a fanny pack so you have hands free for those rides.

9. Drinks are expensive in the theme parks, bring a water bottle so you can refill it when you can.

While at the parks keep these Walt Disney Florida tips in mind:

1. Get there early and go to the popular rides first and take in the shows in the afternoon. Get your reservation tickets for some shows.

2. Each park has a board to tell how long the wait times are.

3.Use the FASTPASS tickets to cut down on your wait time in line. Insert your tickets into the FASTPASS machine get your ticket back along with the FASTPASS and then go do whatever you want. Come back between the times listed on the FASTPASS tickets and go through the turnstile just for FASTPASS people and have a much shorter wait. BUT REMEMBER YOU CAN ONLY USE ONE FASTPASS AT A TIME.

4.Just park and take the shuttle to the entrance gate and then to the ticket and transportation center. Take the monorail or ferryboat to the Magic Kingdom theme park or the monorail to Epcot theme park.

5. If your staying off site and have park hopper tickets you can use disney transportation. Just ask for a tranportaton guide from guest relations.

6. If driving yourself, remember to write down your parking area. With all the excitement your sure to forget.

7. While on rides always hang on to your stuff, or better yet have someone else look after it while you are on the ride.
